SHERRY WHITFIELD MERRELL

Native legends speak of Crystal Skulls as an inheritance from ancient times.  Said to “talk and sing” they are believed to carry messages for all humankind, including what may be discovered when we overcome our fear of death.

Synergy weighs 7.1 kilos: the size of an adult human skull.  According to two forensic anthropologists who studied it, it was modeled from an actual human skull.  Thus, a face could be reconstructed on it.

 Synergy is the quality that this skull is said to represent and its name.   Synergy means "the cooperative action of two or more entities, to bring about a total effect that is greater than what either can do alone".  Anyone who has experienced this crystal skull when it is active will tell you that these combined energies are incredible. 

Synergy was in a South American village when it was acquired in the 1980s by a European businessman while hiking in the Andes.  A native elder gave it to him, saying the skull itself had chosen him to take it to the West to someone who would know what to do with it.  He was told it had been the property of a local Catholic nun who had been given the skull by a Native Shaman and that is had come across the Pacific centuries earlier, via a reed canoe. The European man used it as an accent display for his jewelry designs for many years until he brought it to the U.S. in February 2001.  There he met gemstone dealer and recognized intuitive counselor, Sherry Whitfield Merrell.  After she admired it, he found himself telling her “I think you should have this.”  He felt the crystal skull itself wanted to go with.   After thinking about it overnight, she accepted, having no thoughts of what she might do with it.   

Sherry began “listening” to Synergy when dealing with clients who came to her for intuitive spiritual counseling and to her workshops about Angels. She also displayed it at her gift galleries.  Then, in 2005, a man from an island off of the coast of New Zealand, who’d seen a photo of Synergy in a newspaper, visited her, and experienced Synergy. He felt it was a “reunion.” He brought a small modern amethyst skull that had been in Synergy’s energy field back to the tribe’s chief and Shaman.  They corroborated his feelings and then told Sherry a most-unusual story of how Synergy had once belonged to their tribe for thousands of generations.  This Native tribe still reveres other ancient skull artifacts today.  These elders told their Westernized traveler that in fact the skull Sherry calls Synergy had long ago “spoken” to their ancestors, requesting to be “sent out” as a messenger of their reverence for life and collective wisdom.  Thus they’d sent it to the Americas, where it went to a people known then as the “People of the Sky, the Warriors of the Clouds.”  Synergy eventually was given to the young Spanish nun by the last of their Shamans, then to the Andean village elder, then to the European jeweler, and ultimately to Sherry.

   In 2007, another part of this story was verified by Hawaiian Kahunas. They say that it indeed arrived on the islands, via reed canoes. This crystal skull is a part of the ancient and sacred secrets from their ancestors.

    Sherry firmly believes that this ancient talisman has reappeared at this time to help those who seek deeper connections to ancestral and Earth wisdom.

Sherry Whitfield Merrell is Synergy’s current caretaker. Sherry has led numerous workshops internationally on spiritual, metaphysical & esoteric subjects. Her focus is on spiritual awareness and development, as well as the empowerment and validation of the individual. Clairvoyant since early childhood, Whitfield has an unusual background, having worked as a "Sensitive," in a medical doctor’s office for several years, assisting the doctor in gaining insights into atypical or difficult medical and psychiatric conditions.  Additionally, she has collaborated with scientific researchers at the University level, working to understand subtle energies and states of consciousness. Based near Tucson, Arizona, Sherry also has extensive experience in business as a consultant and has owned several businesses, including a wellness center and five nature themed art and gift galleries.

 A prolific author, Sherry has written columns about practical spirituality for several papers and newsletters in the U.S. and Canada, a number of instructional workbooks, and maintains three extensive websites. She is well known for her practical, down to earth and gently humorous approach.
